He has published articles on the historicity of antiblackness in the late industrial novel, representations of climate crisis in contemporary science fiction, and the aesthetics of stagnation in experimental cinematic realism. His research has appeared in Discourse and Science Fiction Studies, and is forthcoming in Cultural Critique and Bloomsbury’s Companion to Marx.
